Unpleasant journey of cracked heels and damaged feet

The journey of cracked feet starts with the arrival of winter, for some people the cracks are bearable but for some it gets extreme with deeper cracks and bleeding. It is really hard to walk with those bleeding and cracked feet.

They have to bear the pain throughout winter even if they use some home remedies or medication. The pain can be just supressed with those medication.

So what could be the solution? The only solution is to be prepared well before winter arrives.

We all know that prevention is better than cure, but still we can see only few people follow it. I am one of them :) I love people who care for their health and fitness. I have learned my lessons the hard way.

Now let's dive to the facts which cause cracked heels or damaged feet. We all know that by the arrival of winter our skin gets dry and cracks easily. It mainly happens due to less humidity in air, which instead leads to drier air. This ends up giving you dry skin more vulnerable to cracking and peels.

Are going to bear the pain next time? Your answer should be "NO"

let's do it bit different.

The first and foremost step would be clean your feet with soap and water and pat them dry. If you already have cracks in your heels, remove them with a scraper or rub them with a pumice stone( acts as a scrubber). It helps you to get rid of dry skin.

  • Apply oil to the affected area. It can be either coconut oil, sesame oil or any other vegetable oil.

  • Lemons play a better role in home remedies. They come handy when we have health related problems so how can we ignore them here? acidic properties in lemon juice soften the skin. Soak your feet in a bucket of lukewarm water and lemon juice for 10 to 15 minutes. Then clean and pat dry your feet.

  • The most tried and tested remedy for dry and cracking heels, is salt water. Place your feet into a bucket of salty warm water and leave them there for 15 minutes after that remove your feet and soak your in bucket of cold water for 10 minutes. This not gives you happy feet but also improves blood circulation.

So say bye bye to cracked, bleeding feet or heels, give them the nourishment they need.
