Summer ON !!! Fruits IN!!!

With summer round the corner we start carving for all possible fruits available in the market. We all love to have fruits, fruit salads, icecreams, shakes, juices and much more... Markets will be filled with all types of fruits. In summer we have to make the necessary dietary changes to avoid excess removal of water from our body.

Fruits play an important role in that as they have lot of water content and nutritional values needed for our body. In summer the mostly loved fruits are melons, lemons and Mango.

As a kids i always would love to make lemon juice, they are the best to quench thirst. My kids also love it, not only my kids most of people would prefer lemon juice over others as it is easy to make also helps us to cope up with summer related health problems such as nausea, heartburn and dehydration. Oranges are also helpful with their own benefits.


It is very simple to make lemon water or lemonade; simply squeeze a juice of lemon in a glass of water and drink it. You can add salt or sugar with cardamom powder to enhance its taste as per choice.

Watermelons with 92% water and 6% sugar they are best thing in summer which helps us to quench our thirst as well as keeps our body hydrated. It takes care of our skin from harmful sunrays. They are rich in vitamin A,vitamin B potassium and zinc. They build our immune system. Musk melons and Cantaloupe are also better alternatives.

Mangos are called king of fruits. They are enjoyed by people of all age groups. Mangos are really bounded by our memories. In our school we used to have lot of mango trees, we used to throw stones at them or pick the just fallen ones. The raw mangoes with salt really bring back those nostalgic moments. Ripe mangoes really tastes like heaven. They are the must in summer. We enjoy mangoes to their best till season lasts.


Mangoes have their own benefits, they are loaded with fiber and contains high amounts of iron and selenium. They are of course rich source of vitamin A, vitamin C.These lowers serum LDL cholesterol in our body, while the potassium helps in controlling heart rate and blood pressure. The fruit also has immunity-boosting properties, so do take a bite of this juicy and yummy fruit.


Grapes are the most easily available and easy to eat fruit in summer. They quench our hunger and thirst by providing right nutrition needed for our body. They really taste good, provide necessary protection from radiation at the same time giving the right cleansing to our body. The juice of red grapes really refresh us. The green grapes make you feel full with no hunger pangs.
